Plant tip

Water when the top inch of soil feels dry.

Push a finger in up to the first knuckle. Damp? Wait a day or two. Dry? Water slowly until it runs out of the bottom.

Grow from seed in four steps

    Fill

    Fill your pot with the soil mix, leaving a finger's width at the top.

  2. 2

    Sow

    Add the seeds and cover them lightly with soil.

  3. 3

    Water

    Water your seeds to keep the soil slightly moist, never soggy.

  4. 4

    Sun

    Your plant needs 4 to 8 hours of sunlight daily.
